My dad and Judy came out last Wednesday to visit for a few days. We had a lot of fun and wacky misadventures. When you put me and my dad together, there is no limit to the amount of trouble we can get ourselves into. I'll let you interpret that however you want.
Thursday and Friday we went up to Lake Lure in the mountains. We took a pontoon boat ride around the lake. Here we are standing in front of the boats after the ride:
Saturday we went to the Renaissance Festival. Samantha thought it was very interesting. I didn't wear sunscreen and was sunburnt by the time we were done. I am so silly sometimes. You would think I would learn, but no.
We watched the fancy knights have a contest of arms. Here they are riding around on their horses. Each section of the audience is supposed to cheer for one of the knights. The guy on the left was the good guy. He was pretty boring. The guy in the middle was the crazy guy. He was a bit better. The guy on the right was the bad guy, and the guy we were supposed to cheer for. He won the tournament we saw. There are three tournaments per day, so I assume the other knights win the other tournaments.
Sunday to Monday afternoon my dad and Judy went down to Charleston. So you don't get any pictures of that. My dad took some pictures, so bug him to start up his own blog and you can see those.
Tuesday morning we just hung out around the house until it was time for them to leave. Here we are hanging out on the front porch:
And on the back porch:
And my dad helping Samantha blow some bubbles:
It was a fun week, but now we're back to the ol' grindstone!

Looks like a lot of fun! Grandpa George sure knows how to use those bubbles. Ask him about Jayden & bubbles at his house! On a side note....mommy loves me the best! Wink wink!
