It's educational blog post time today. Growing up in Washington, I had no idea what a cicada was, or that there were bugs that emerge only once every 13 years. Crazy stuff. So since the 13 year swarm is out and about this year, and since the last time they were out was in 1998, the year we got married, I thought I'd take a picture of one and post it.
