Utah trip

Last week we travelled to Utah for Grandpa Geary's funeral. It was, of course, a sad occasion, but we were able to have some nice visits with family while we were there.

We drove up to Silver Lake near Brighton Canyon (I may have the name of that a little off).

We also visited Bingham Canyon Open Pit Copper Mine, the largest open pit mine in the world (according to the PR movie). Samantha posed with her Aunt Melinda. Grandpa George, Samantha and Jeff posed in front of one of the actual tires used on the dump trucks in the mine.
