Outside and Go Heels!

As you can see below, Samantha LOVES being outside. We have been trying to take walks in our neighborhood on nice days. When we get back to our house, Samantha gets to get out of the stroller and just walk around. Her favorite thing to do is to point out "pine cones" and "yellow" (dandelions). She has also started trying to jump. In the second picture, you can see that sometimes she's able to get one foot of the ground. She bends her knees and concentrates really hard, but usually ends up on her toes, with just her heels off the ground.

I just liked this picture. Look how much hair she's finally getting!

Speaking of "heels," Samantha was very excited to cheer the Tar Heels to victory in the ACC tournament. She wore her Carolina dress all day on Sunday, even to church. Whenever anyone asked what was on her dress she said "Heels" or "Go Heels." She watched the game and clapped and cheered with the rest of us. The 2nd picture below is the face she made when yelling "Go Heels!" She will be making her picks for the NCAA brackets later tonight or tomorrow.
