Camoflauge and Polka Dots
Samantha continues to have her own sense of style. However, her ideas about what she should wear don't always match, or even match the season we are in. I need to hide the snowsuit that is still hanging in her closet because whenever we open her closet for her to "help" me choose her clothes for the day, she inevitably wants to wear the snowsuit. After that, she goes straight for her birthday dress. I can see many many battles ahead in our future.
Her new favorite shirt is the one she is wearing below. We went shopping with Nannie this week who allowed Samantha to pick out a shirt for herself. She saw this one and said "Zach shirt!" and wanted it. (For an explanation, we have seen Zach wear a camo shirt once or twice, and Samantha doesn't forget anything...ever - well, at least it seems that way when she becomes fixated on something.) The second picture is her holding the bear her Aunt "Me-glinda" (Melinda) and Uncle Jayson brought her from their trip. She loves this bear!
These are just a couple of pictures I took of Samantha in her polka dot dress (thank you Aunt Julie) that she wore to church today. I can never get her to keep a hat on, so I wanted to get some pictures of her while it lasted.

That girl is just too dang cute! I love that you guys are posting new pictures more often...but I guess Lennie probably deserves the credit...Just because she is so awesome (wink, wink)!!!!
As long as I know that I'm awesome... that's all that matters. *hug self*
Hi Guys - Aunt (by marriage) Michelle here! :) I love reading through your blog and seeing the many pictures of your adorable daughter. I agree with c. michael - polka dots dress is definitely a shot worth publishing! I was happy to see that Samantha's auntie and uncle were able to stop in for a visit - I wish we could all see each other more often. Hope all is well - Love, M
