Hello avid blog readers!
Lennie was complaining to me just the other day that I haven't done a post in a while. I told her that since she mastered the ways of the blog it didn't make a lot of sense for me to do them. After all, since she is the one who took the pictures, it makes the most sense for her to be the one to comment on them.
But never let it be said that I don't listen to my wife! Now on to the main event...
Lennie and I both have a lot of hair. Powerful hair. I'm talking mad scientist sort of hair--maybe a Bond villain.
Lennie's hair is long enough that it doesn't stand straight up. But mine is not. Many times I wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and say to myself, "how in the world did it end up looking like that?!"
Samantha's hair has been slow to grow in, but I have no doubt that it is merely biding its time. It waits in dormant slumber until the time is ripe to emerge from its cocoon like some sort of glorious hairy butterfly.
I think that time is almost upon us. Behold and tremble at its coming:
This week our weather has been hotter than Hades. It's been around or over 100 every day this week, and with our levels of humidity that is just crazy talk. I take the dogs out before we go to bed each night and feel like I'm walking into a sauna.
Samantha spent some time in the pool yesterday to escape the heat:

Super cute hair! It always looks really good in the morning. Nothing like a good laugh! By the way...when you say "the pool" does that mean it's in your backyard?
I wish!
No, it's at a friend's house. But at least it's nice to have friends who have pools.
Oh, no! The haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaairrrrr! It's really cute. :)
