Lennie's Christmas update is still percolating. She likes to bring her blog posts to a slow boil. Maybe you'll see it by next Christmas. Maybe not.

But I am here to save the day! I'm afraid this won't be too exciting, but we have a funny Samantha story to share.

Lennie has a tendency to take off her shoes while in the kitchen, and leave them there. There are usually 3-4 pairs of her shoes at random locations around the kitchen.

So the other day she was preparing dinner and Samantha was standing around wanting to help with something. Lennie said, "why don't you take Mommy's shoes to her room?" Samantha promptly picked up a pair and set off for our room. She's very helpful.

It wasn't until that night that we noticed the shoes. Many two year olds would toss them all in a corner, but not Samantha!



At least we don't have to worry about her recognizing patterns.

Since a picture of shoes would be a shoddy update when you only get one every few weeks, here's a picture of Walnut calmer than many of you have ever seen her.
