Renaissance Festival

We went to the Renaissance Festival the first Saturday in October. Now, we're old and somewhat jaded, so once you've seen one Renaissance Festival, you've seen 'em all, but Samantha enjoyed it. It was also the perfect day as far as the weather goes.

Samantha and her daddy pose before we go in. Don't they look happy?

A camel! (No, we didn't ride the camel - Samantha started saying "I'm not riding the camel" as soon as we got within sight of it.)

Wearing her princess hat/crown/thingie. It might seem simple to pick out such an item, but Samantha had to look at every one in the store before deciding on what style to get and then had to pick just the right one. It wasn't until I was taking her picture several minutes later that I realized she managed to pick one that matched her outfit.

An elephant! (No, we didn't ride the elephant - see above.)

Such a good daddy! Riding the Swan Swing and carrying a very silly girl (who thought it was hilarious for some reason to cover his eyes - it didn't help that he was laughing too!)
