Strawberry Shortcake

First of all, a big "Thank You" to those who commented below. Jeff says I'm not allowed to beg for comments again...

Samantha got to pick her own Halloween costume this year for the first time and she took the task very seriously. After much discussion, she decided on Strawberry Shortcake, but it had to be "Strawberry Shortcake with the dress, not Strawberry Shortcake with the pants." I think she has good taste and it suited her perfectly.

Here are just a couple from our Jesus Fest at church on Wednesday.

With her buddy Kinsey - what a cute puppy!

We spent Halloween at Uncle Britt and Aunt Julie's house, carving the pumpkin before going to Mimi and Grandaddy's house to Trick-or-Treat. (She got a half a bag of candy from one house!)

"That's a big pumpkin, Uncle Britt."

"Eww! Gross!" (We did eventually convince her to touch it to help clean it out, but she wasn't thrilled with the whole process.)

Supervising...wonder where she gets that from?

"Uncle Britt, are you sure you know what you're doing?"

Showing us what she thought the pumpkin's face should/would look like

The finished product, with and without the flash
