Snow day #3
Don't worry - you didn't miss #2; it was gone before we got any pictures. Although we did have a fun activity that day that I may eventually post about.
This Sunday/Monday we got a lot of snow. Unfortunately, it came after we had gotten a TON of rain. I don't know that I've ever seen flood warnings and winter storm warnings on the same night before. Here are a few pictures from our day.
You can see the patches where there were puddles in the yard when it started snowing. Jeff worked from home, but we borrowed him for about 5 minutes of his lunch break to come assemble a snow man for us to decorate. Samantha helped him push the big snowballs around the yard.
Here she is with the finished product. She named him "Brownie" because, as she said, "he has brown eyes, just like me." Then she had to have her camera to take a pictures of Brownie, her first snowman.
Here are a few of Samantha's pictures:

I think she may have been taking photography lessons from her daddy with this shot. He likes "artistic" pictures of people's feet, etc.
After lunch, Uncle Britt and Aunt Julie came over. Brownie had collapsed and had to be reconstructed. They also made him a girlfriend. Samantha didn't name her.
The new Brownie was a little smaller and Samantha said "he's my age!"

How cute! I love that he was Brownie... though that makes me want brownies...
WOW snow in March in N.C. We just had more snow last night also. Very cold today high 35 degrees. But that is not that out of the ordinary for us in Utah. Thanks for the pictures and blog.
