First Day of School and the Playhouse

We have passed the halfway point! It will only take a few more donations to help Samantha reach her goal. Just click here. Every little bit helps!

I was just going to put up pictures of the playhouse project, but realized I didn't have any good pictures of Samantha with the playhouse yet. And since I know some of you only look at our blog to see her pictures, I didn't want to disappoint.

These are a couple of pictures I took on the first day of preschool (her LAST year in preschool).

Samantha's Grandaddy retired at the end of September. His first post-retirement project was to build her a playhouse. It is being referred to by some as the Taj-Majal...

Here is one of the early shots after the floor was finished, while he was working on the walls. Samantha is supervising. Yes, that is insulation you see. Aren't all playhouses insulated?

This is after the walls were almost all up with the windows and doors cut out.

We got up yesterday morning to see a hawk had decided to stop by and rest for a little while. Sorry for the poor quality. I had to take the picture through the window so it wouldn't fly away.

I'm planning on donating 25 or 50 dollars. Will try to do so tomorrow night; if not, I'll write you a check and give it to you. :)
