3 year pictures

Tonight Samantha and I went to have her 3 year pictures made. My friend Lindsey started her own photography business about 6 months ago, and I love her pictures. The third time was a charm for us (we had scheduled twice before and gotten rained out). Samantha had so much fun. Before, any time we had pictures made, it was a chore to get even a couple of smiles out of her because the setting was so stiff and formal. This time, she got to play and be herself and I think it really shows in the pictures. When we got in the car to leave, Samantha said, "Mommy, I had so much fun taking my pictures. She is a nice lady." I thought it was a great testimonial from a 3 year old.
