4th of July fun!
We had a fairly low-key 4th this year. We did, however, make it to the annual Harrisburg 4th of July celebration. Samantha decided she was big enough now to get her face painted and try some rides. (For those of you who know her well, you know I'm not being facetious - she's generally a little nervous about such new things).
Here she is getting her face painted as a kitty cat - she's not so sure about it.
The finished product - one happy kitty cat!
After a couple of false starts, she made it to the top of the slide with Aunt Julie. Once up top, she decided she didn't want to slide, but Aunt Julie told her the only way down was to slide. Samantha said it was fun, but she didn't want to go again. She later tried the swings and I don't think she relaxed her grip the whole time.
Samantha decided the train and the helicopter were much more to her liking.

Looks like a nice time. Glad we are trying new things, that's the fun in life.
Thanks Lennie for getting the pictures to us so fast.
