Something a little different for you again. Last time we had a drawing from Samantha; this time we'll view a couple of drawings from me! I haven't drawn anything in many years. These drawings aree from shortly after I moved to NC. I used to enjoy making up little super hero personas for people I knew.
The first summer I was in NC Lennie was watching some kids at her church. One of them announced that he was "Red Ninja" but I didn't understand him very well, and I thought he said he was "Rug Bear". Thus Rug Bear and his pet goat named Dewg were born:
Originally Dewg was supposed to be a dog. But I tried to draw a dog and it looked more like a goat to me, so I just left it. That's how a lot of things happen in my drawings. I'm not a very good artist, so most of my best creations are by accident.
Here's Rug Bear's arch-nemesis, Lava Lion:
Lennie has a super hero of her own as well--the glorious Masked Turtle. The Masked Turtle is somewhat slow, being a turtle, but she makes up for this by use of super hero devices like her Jet Pack and her Bad Motorscooter:
The thing that looks like a square cow is Super Square Cow. He's old school, and has his own story unrelated to the Masked Turtle. He just makes a guest cameo in this picture.
If you ever wondered why our semi-yearly Christmas newsletter is called "The Masked Turtle" now you know.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures! I'm sure you'll get some 4th of July pictures before long, although nothing too exciting since it rained all evening long here on the 4th.

Lol! I love it. I learn something new about you everyday dear bro. I don't remember you really drawing anything but you are really good at it.
I think there must be some way to make some cash with these great super heros you have created. Be creative and make some money off another talent you have.
The Old Man
Maybe I don't remember you drawing because I was locked in the closet all day. THAT's it....while you were bored guarding the door you were drawing....makes sense!
