Sorry for the delay in posting. It's been a crazy couple of weeks (months?).
We had a great time last week going to our local version of a children's museum. It was on the smaller side (after visiting the big museum), but a LOT of fun for all the kids who went. Samantha especially enjoyed it.
Here she is "cooking" in their retro kitchen and then "shopping" - I thought the freezer section was too cute.
They also had a nice-sized stage with lots of instruments. Samantha tried out the drums first and then the piano. She sang "Itsy Bitsy Spider" while she played.
Here we are in the teepee. The only way she'd get in was if I got in first. And here is our little "Indian Princess" - this is the goofy grin I got when I told her we could go to the pirate ship if she'd just smile and let me take her picture.
We finally made it to the pirate ship. And did she want to steer the ship? No, of course not. Swabbing the deck was much more fun. They also had a track with various cars and she tried them all out, but I thought Thomas the Train was the cutest.
