Halloween costumes and procrastination
*Disclaimer - there will be no pictures in this post. So, if you are here for the pictures, you will be disappointed. More pictures to come soon though, probably.
So, as many of you know, I sometimes tend to put things off. However, this year I was determined to have Samantha's halloween costume ordered early. I contacted some friends from church so I could order all of our costumes together and save us all on shipping. I got their responses and prepared to place the order. Wouldn't you know it? The costume I chose for Samantha was out of stock. And, it was out of stock and every website I looked at. I even went to 2 local stores and they didn't carry it. I went ahead and ordered the other kids' costumes from the first place because I didn't want them to end up being out of stock too.
I gave it a day and started searching again. I found a couple of possibilities on e-bay. However, I've made it this long without using e-bay, so it was going to be my last option. I put my name on mailing lists on all the sites to be notified if it came in.
The panic started creeping in.
Then it happened.
I found it. (on a link from a link from another page I had already looked at)
So, I ordered it. Then I got the e-mail notification that my order was received and if I mentioned their website on my blog, I got free shipping. So here goes - the website that saved the day was http://halloweencostumes4u.com/
Watch further posts to see what the costume was/is (if you don't already know).
