So since I moved to the east coast whenever there is bad weather anywhere near us my mom will call and ask if we are flooded or blown away by tornados or whatever else. But she didn't call this time! What if I were drowned!
Here is the scene if you turn right out of our neighborhood.
Fortunately we mostly turn left out of our neighborhood. Look at that flooding! They have the road shut down! Well, okay, so it's not exactly cars floating down main street, but hey, I think it counts.
Fay missed us on its initial pass, but apparently circled around and decided to take another crack at us from a different angle, so we've had moderate rain for about two days solid. I'm sure it'll dry up before too long, so never fear, Los Arcos is not lost to us! (We normally turn right out of our neighborhood to go there.)

Hey, guys. We got hit over in Middleton, too. I posted a write-up and some photos at http://cmpilato.blogspot.com/2008/08/flooding-in-harrisburg.html.
Yeah, apparently it's a bit more serious than I initially thought. They are evacuating parts of our neighborhood. Fortunately we are a bit higher up than the rest of the neighborhood.
Charlotte looked really bad on the news last night.
