Early on in our marriage, Lennie suggested that we get a video camera so when we had a baby we could have "fun home movies". But I am morally opposed to home videos. This is mostly because I think I'm a big goober, and I hate to be faced with the reality of watching myself as a big goober.

I think pictures are plenty good enough.

So eventually we got a video camera. All would be well, except that Lennie expects me to be the one to take, process, and archive the movies. Meanwhile I don't want to have the thing to begin with.

Anyway, all this adds up to us taking videos maybe 2 or 3 times since Samantha was born.

Today she was singing the alphabet, so I thought it might be as good a time as any for some video action. But of course as soon as you whip out the video camera, there is no more singing the entire alphabet. Witness the action:
